TIS Miner

TIS Miner is used to predict translation initiation site(s) in vertebrate DNA/mRNA/cDNA sequences. It was trained on 3312 vertebrate mRNA sequences. The training accuracy is 92.45% at 80.19% sensitivity and 96.48% specificity. Please refer to our paper and technology background and data for more information about the classification model as well as the training and validation data.
